Q ~ Why is it important to get a “Medical Clearance” from a Physician prior to scheduling an appointment?
A ~ It is important that I know an individual’s current health status to take necessary precautions for comprehensive care. For example, sometimes a premed, with an antibiotic, is necessary prior to dental procedures following joint replacements.
Q ~ What forms of payment do you accept?
A ~ Payment is due at time of service with cash or check. With prior arrangement, a statement can be mailed when an individual’s expenses are managed by another.
Q ~ Is an In Home Dental Hygiene visit covered by dental insurance?
A ~ For those with dental insurance, I am considered an out-of-network provider. Per your request, I can provide a Super Bill (detailed receipt) that you can submit to the insurance company for direct reimbursement. The amount of the reimbursement depends on your individual plan. I recommend you consult your insurance carrier for further information on your out-of-network coverage.
